Nei Jing

The clear yang makes the heaven, and the heavy yin makes the earth; the earthly qi ascends to become clouds, and the heavenly qi descends to become rain.
Rain comes from the earthly qi, and clouds come from the heavenly qi.
So that is why the clear yang gets out of the upper orifices, and the heavy yin gets out of the lower orifices. The clear yang effuses the striae and interstitial space, and the heavy yin goes into the five Zang-organs; as well as the clear yang runs the four limbs, and the heavy yin belongs to the six fu-organs.

Key Words: Topic on correspondences and manifestations, Yin and Yang, the plain questions
