Research of Relationship between Hypertension Syndromes According to Differentiation and Transcranial DopplerPosted by: admin on Feb 03, 2009 - 07:11 PMWe use Transcranial Doppler on examination of 120 cases of hypertension, the result is summarized as following. 1. The Transcranial Doppler Examination of types of hypertension: excessive liver fire type is usually seen multi-vascular, especially for internal carotid artery system, the blood flow speed increases obviously during vascular contracted period, there is evident difference comparing with contrast group, PI values, RI values are within normal range; Yin deficiency and Yang rising type is shown blood flow speed increases during multi-vascular contracted period, there is evident difference comparing with contrast group, the blood flow speed decreases during end-diastolic, PI values, RI values grow slightly, there is obvious difference comparing with contrast group. Yin-Yang deficiency type, excessive phlegm-dampness type: the blood flow speed in contracted period and end-diastolic period of multi vascular decrease obviously, however, the PI values and RI values rise evidently, obvious difference can be witnessed comparing with contrast group. 2. All types of hypertension transcranial Doppler spectrum morphological differences: excessive liver fire type can be usually seen typical strong pulsate sambong wave spectrum (the spectrum of normal patterns), the first systolic peak (S1 peak) steep tip-Song, the second systolic peak (S2 peak) protruding, S1>S2, diastolic peak (D peak) is obvious, the frequency window is clear. Yin deficiency and Yang rising type: spectrum shape shows round blunt peak in contraction peak, S1<S2 or S1, S2 merge together. Yin-Yang deficiency type, excessive phlegm-dampness type can be usually seen high wave spectrum (typical cerebral arteriosclerosis spectrum): spectrum peaks is lower and round blunt or systolic peak is steep and sharp, S2 is lower or disappears, frequency window decreases or disappears.
