Torsional Spasm

Scalp Acupuncture

Torsional spasm is characterized by disturbance of muscular tonus and violent involuntary torsion. It can be divided into idiopathic type and symptomatic type that appear in patients of infection, vascular diseases, intoxication and tumors. Its unique symptoms are involuntary torsional movement and spasm of the head, neck, trunk, pelvis and limbs.

The Selection of Stimulation: Chorea and tremor controlling area on both sides.

Scalp acupuncture may cure torsion spasm caused by intoxication in some cases.
