The secret recipe of Qu Feng Shi Gu Tong medicinal liquor comes from my father. This prescription is pungent in taste and warm in nature, and good at opening yang qi and dredging meridians. The main indications are Bi syndromes of wind, coldness and dampness. Prescriptions: Xun Gu Feng, Ma Gu Feng, ji Xue Teng, Tong Zuan, Da Zuan, Xiao Zuan, Si Fang Teng, Xi Xin, Dang Gui, Huai Nui Xi, Sang Ji Sheng, Gou Qi Zi and Rou Cong Rong. Preparation of medicinal liquor: cold-maceration: 1.5 kg white win (above 53), soak the drugs in wine in closed medicine bottle for 45~60 days; Warm-maceration: change the first drug Xun Feng Gu into equivalent Tong Cheng Hu, for Xun Gu Feng only can be soaked by cold-maceration, and heat it up for 2~3 times during the soaking periods. Usage: oral administration, 25~30ml for once, twice a day and oral taking on an empty stomach. When get sore, grind raw ginger, mix with little medicinal liquor, and hold it with bowl or cup, then steam it with water and apply it on affect region frequently. The medicinal liquor is steamed by water. It is better to treat Bi syndromes by tonifying kidney-Yin; add Lu Jiao Jiao 9g for compatibility, Huang Jiu 30ml as accessory, fine white win and rock sugar. Put them into the bowl, melting by hot water, and take it with medicinal liquor.
