External Medicine

Within the 108 cases, there are 20 cases of qi-blood deficiency, accompanying with wind evil attack, disharmony of nutrient-defensive qi; 30 cases of interior damp with exterior attacking, disharmony of meridians, skin dystrophy; 16 cases of qi obstruction and blood stagnation; 9 cases of liver-stasis and qi obstruction; 11 cases of blood-heat; 10 cases of spleen-kidney deficiency; 12 cases with liver-kidney deficiency as main symptom, accompanying with qi-blood disharmony, skin dystrophy. Treatment method: every type mentioned above use Bai Ji Li 9g, Bu Gu Zhi 15g (grind to powder) and taking with 2 times, using Fu Ping (duckweed) to make tea and taking. 2 times a day, 3 months are one course. Exterior usage: 35% Bu Gu Zhi plus Mao Jiang are dipped in 75% alcohol, making paste and smearing on affected area. Meanwhile, expose under sunlight for 5-10 minutes, 1 time a day. Add Dang Shen, Huang Qi, Dan Shen if there are qi-blood deficiency, accompanying with wind evil attack, disharmony of nutrient-defensive qi; add Chai Hu if there is white spot on face, Chuang Xiong if there is white spot on head, Ge Gen if there is white spot on back, Xu Duan if there is white spot on lumbosacral, Jiang Huang if there is white spot on arms, Niu Xi if there is white spot on legs; add Wei Ling Xian if there is large-scale of white spot, add Wu Mei if the white spot is in developed period. Add Sheng Di Huang, Hei Zhi Ma, Long Dan Cao, Tu Si Zi to nourish liver-kidney, regulate qi-blood if there is liver-kidney deficiency combining with qi-blood disharmony, skin dystrophy. Add Bai Xian Pi, Han Lian Cao, He Shou Wu, Zao Jiao Ci if there are wind-damp exterior attacking, disharmony of meridians, skin dystrophy. Add Dan Shen, Chi Shao Yao to invigorating flow of blood and regulating qi if there is qi obstruction and blood stagnation. Add Cang Er Cao,  Zi Ran Tong (nuture copper) to soothing liver and regulating qi if there is liver stasis and qi obstruction, add Sheng Ma if there is white spot on face and head, add Gua Lou if there is white spot on chest, add Niu Xi if there is white spot on legs. Add Han Lian Cao if there is liver-kidney deficiency. Add Tao Ren, Wu Qiao She to clearing heat and cooling blood if there is blood-heat. Add Rou Gui, ji Xue Teng, Yin Yang Huo to reinforcing spleen-kidney if there is spleen-kidney yang deficiency.

Result: after one course treatment, 10 cases were healed, 23 cases had obvious effect, 43 cases with effect, 32 cases without effect. Total effective rate is 70.4%.
