50 cases of breast hyperplasia according with diagnostic criteriaare standard are chosen and divided into treatment group with 30 cases and control group with 20 cases at random. Treatment: the patients in treatment group take Xiao He Tang orally: Lu Jiao Shuang, Yin Yang Huo, Bu Gu Zhi, Xiang Fu, Xia Ku Cao, Lu Lu Tong, Qing Pi, Dan Shen, Chuan Shan Jia, Chai Hu, Zhe Bei Mu, Gua Lou, Zao Ci and Chi Shao; be decocted with water and externally applied with gauze moisten by warm decoction on the wound. For the control group, add Gua Luo, Chuan Shan Jia, Zhe Bei and Xia Ku Cao in Chai Hu Shu Gan San; the administration is the same as the former one. All the patients take drugs for 2 courses, and stop the other drugs during treatment period.
Results: the total effective rate of treatment group is 86.7% and the control group’s is 65.0%. the treatment group is better than the control group(P<.01).
