Child aphtha is commonly seen disease in oral cavity in infantile department, it is manifested with erosion or ulceration on cheek, tongue border, palate, teeth gum etc. there are 36 out-patients in this group who suffer from erosion on mouth and tongue, difficult swallowing because of pain in throat, crying, painful facial appearance, red and swelling on cheek, tongue border and teeth gum with yellow or white color and pinhead size ulcerous spots on some places, red tongue with scanty and slightly sticky coating, thread and rapid pulse, purplish fingerprint. We take 2-4g Wu Zhu Yu powder and small dosage of vinegar, mix them into paste, place paste on the center of tape with size of 2cm×2cm, patients should stick tape on the Yongquan (KI1) Jing-Well Point of both sides after washing feet at night, take tape out on the morning of second day, stimulation time reaches to 12 hours.
Treatment result: total effective rate is 94.4%. this method includes the treatment principles of “ upper diseases can be treated by points on the lower part of body â€, “ deficient and excessive syndromes can be treated together at the same time â€, “ inducing heat to go downward â€, so interior heat can be induced downward and aphtha can be stopped. This method is easy to use, acceptable by children, so it is one of best method to treat child aphtha.
