Hepatitis A shows yellow color on body. There are symptoms of poor appetite, aversion to greasy, nausea and vomiting, distention in abdomen, fatigue, sticky tongue coating, soft pulse etc besides yellow body, yellow eyes, yellow urine, all the symptoms belong to pathogenesis of spleen deficiency and damp obstruction. We use Huang Qi to tonify spleen, damp is eliminated due to spleen’s health, Huang Qi can reinforce Qi and excrete water, Qi moves and water excretes, so the damp eliminating function is more remarkable. Huang Qi has the functions of:
1. It can rehabilitate pathological tissue injury of liver, protect liver cells.
2. Regulating protein metabolism disorder. When the ratio of albumin and globulin is inverted, Huang Qi can promote liver protein synthesis, improve albumin, reduce globulin, increase plasma colloid osmotic pressure, and eliminate ascites due to hepatocirrhosis.
3. Inducing interferon, fighting against virus infection strongly, promoting signs of hepatitis B virus turns to negative.
4. Improving immune function, Hepatitis B’s lower immune function is main reason of chronic trend, Huang Qi can adjust humoral immune and cellular immune, it has closed relation to its Qi reinforcement function.
5. Anti-fatty liver.
