In the 52 cases, the youngest is 23 years old and the eldest is 38 years old. According to the examination of basal body temperature in two cycles and pathological examination of intima by diagnostic curettage, the basal body temperature curve is duplex-type and the one with low temperature is longer while the higher one is delayed. The pathological examination of intima shows corpus Luteal insufficiency.
Treatment: treat the disease combining with both Chinese and western medicine. Generally, corpus progesterone replacement therapy, Luteal stimulation therapy and Chinese herbs for tonifying kidney, nourishing blood, regulating qi and exciting yang are mainly used. Methods: (1) inject luteosterone of 10～20mg into the muscle at the 18th day of menstrual cycle, once a day for 10 days. (2) the patients who is still not pregnant after 3 month treatment by the first method, are given more injection with chorionic gonadotropin of 1000～2000U at the 18th day of menstrual cycle, once every other day and 5 times in total. Take Chinese herbs while be treated with both methods above. Take the herbs at the 5th day of menstrual cycle. It is mainly used for tonifying kidney, regulating meridian and nourishing blood. Prescription: Nu Zhen Zi, Han Lian Cao, Xiang Fu, He Shou Wu, Xian Mao, Yin Yang Huo, Tu Si Zi and Shan Yao. One dose a day, and take it for 5～8 days. Change the prescription into Huang Ti Sheng Cheng Tang at the 18th day of menstrual cycle: Xian Mao, Ba Ji Tian, Gou Qi Zi, Shu Di Haung, Bai Shao, Zhi Xiang Fu, Rou Cong Rong, and Yin Yang Huo. Add ji Xue Teng and Chi Shao for blood stasis; add Chuan Shan Jia and Lu Jiao for blocked tubes; add Chai Hu and Yu Jin for qi stagnation; add Yuan Zhi for palpitation. One dose a day for 10 days.
Curative effects: after treatment, the shortest time for impregnation is 2 moths and the longest is 18 months. The total conception rate is 71%.
