Internal Medicine

The clinical manifestations of chronic Diarrhea are frequent stools, loose or watery stools without purulent blood and tenesmus, accompanied by abdominal pain, borborygmus, abdominal distention and heavy sensation of lower abdomen, etc. It usually breaks out repeatedly or lasts for a long time. It corresponds to allergic colonitis, Chronic colonitis, chronic bacillary dysentery, intestine function disorder, ulcerative colonitis, alteration of intestinal flora and ulcerative tuberculosis, etc. The patient's conditions are lingering, and curative effects of western medicine treatments are not very good. There are 70 cases of outpatients in this group. The prescription is Shen Gui Wu Mei Tang: Dang Shen 15g, Gui Zhi 6g, Wu Mei 6g, Fu Zi 6g, Huang Lian 6g, Huang Bai 9g, Ke Zi 9g, Ying Su Ke 6g, Bu Gu Zhi 12g, Fang Feng 9g, Bai Shao 15g, Gan Cao 6g. Be decocted, one dose one day, and one course is 10 days. The modification: Shi Liu Gen Pi, Wu Bei Zi and Qian Shi can be added for sever diarrhea; Ku Shen and Di Yu can be added for mucous bloody stool; Sha Ren and Zhu Ru can be added for vomiting.


The result: the total effective rate is 94%.
