Stomach


3 FUNCTIONS
To direct qi downward and stop hiccups


4 INDICATIONS
Hiccups: a) due to cold in the stomach-Persimmon calyx (Shi Di) is used with Cloves (Ding Xiang) and Fresh ginger (Sheng Jiang); b) due to heat in the stomach-Persimmon calyx (Shidi) is used with Reed root (Lu Gen) Bamboo shavings (Zhu Ru).
