Dagukong (EX-UE5) Extra Point

Regional Anatomy:
Skin-subcutaneous tissue-tendon of long extensor muscle of thumb.
There are the dorsal digital nerve of the radial nerve and the dorsal digital artery and vein in this area.

Location:
Flex one's thumb; at the midpoint of stria of dorsal articulationes interphalangeae manus.
Function:
Regulating the functions of the stomach and improving eyesight.

Indications:
Eye diseases, vomiting and Diarrhea.

Prescription:
Combined use with ShixuanEXUE11 (EX-UE11) for treatment of vomiting and diarrhea.

Methods:
Usually moxibustion is resorted to, using 3-5 moxa-cones, or mild moxibustion for 5-10 min.
