There are 280 clinic patients who are randomly divided into 2 groups, among which 150 cases belong to Bai Dian Kang group, 130 cases belong to 8 - methoxy-psoralen group. Patients in observing treatment group take Bai Dian Kang No. I, II, III according to syndrome differentiation, 6g each time, 3 times a day, Exterior applying 10% Psoraleae tincture, 2 times a day. For contrast group, oral taking 8 - methoxy-psoralen, 10mg each time, 2 times a day, exterior applying 10% Psoraleae tincture, 2 times a day. Two groups are taken UVA irradiation, 15 minutes each time, 2 times a day. 3 months are one course for each group, recording statistical data after 2 courses’ therapy.
Types according to syndrome differentiation: 1. liver stasis and qi obstruction type (10 cases): prescription: Bai Dian Kang No.I (Chai Hu [3], Chen Xiang [4], Bai Ji Li [5], Fu Ping [6], Bai Shao [7] Yao, Mu Dan Pi [8], Zhi Zi [9], Yu Jin [10])
2. Kidney deficiency type (54 cases): prescription: Bai Dian Kang No.II (Shu Di Huang [11], Tu Si Zi [12], Bu Gu Zhi [13], He Shou Wu [14], Tong Ji Li, Hei Dou, Jiang Huang [15], Nu Zhen Zi [16])
3. Qi-blood disharmony and blood stagnation type (36 cases): prescription: Bai Dian Kang No.III (Fu Ping, Chen Xiang, Bai Ji [17] Li, Bu Gu Zhi, He Shu Wu, Jiang Huang, Ju Hua [18], Chai Hu, Huang Qi [19], Dang Gui [20], Mu Dan Pi)
Result: the total effective rate is 90.66% in treatment group, 76.92% in contrast group.
