Chinese Patent Herb: Xiao Er Yan Bian Granule [1]

Ingredients: Jin Yin Hua [3], She Gan [4], Jin Guo Gan, Jie Geng [5], Xuan Shen [6], Mai Dong, Niu Huang [7], Bing Pian [8] (borneol).

Indications: clearing heat, promoting throat, relieving toxicity, stopping pain. It can be used for excess heat of lung resulting in sore throat, erosion on mouth and tongue, cough with large amount of sputum, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis.

Method and dosage: oral solution. 4g each time for child of 1-2 years old, 2 times a day, 4g each time for child of 3-5 years old, 2-3 times a day, 8g each time for child of 36-14 years old, 2-3 times a day, dissolving in warm water.
