Self Massage

1. Prescription
Chest ang Abdomen Region: Zhongwan (CV12) Front-Mu Point of the Stomach, Qihai (CV6), Guanyuan (CV4) Front-Mu Point of the SmallIntestine.
Back and Lumbar Region: Jianjing (GB21), Jiaji, Shenshu (BL23), Qihaishu (BL24), Yaoyangguan (GV3), Baliao.
Leg: Jianyu (LI15), Jianliao (TE14), Quchi (LI11) He-Sea Point, Shousanli (LI10), Hegu (LI4) Yuan-Source Point, Xiaohai (SI8) He-Sea Point, Yanglao (SI6) Xi-Cleft Point, Baxie, Juliao (GB29), Huantiao (GB30 ), Dubi (ST35), Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point, Jiexi (ST41) Jing-River Point, Bafeng, Sanyinjiao (SP6), Yinlingquan (SP9) He-Sea Point, Yanglingquan (GB34) He-Sea Point, Influential Point of Tendon, Xuanzhong (GB39) Influential Point of the Marrow, Zhaohai (KI6) The Eihgt Confluent Point, Taixi(KI3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point.


2. Technique of Massage
2.1 One finger-push CV12, CV6, CV4 for 2-3 minutes respectively.
2.2 Palm-knead abdomen clockwise for about 5 minutes.
2.3 One hand rolls from shoulder through elbow, wrist to palm and finger joints on affected side, up and down for 3-5 times, more manipulation on joints.   
2.4 One hand holds or pinches affected arm from shoulder through elbow, wrist to palm, up and down for 3-5 times.
2.5 Practice the joints of affected arm initiatively or passively, including shoulder joint, elbow joint, wrist joint, palm and finger joints etc. such as rolling, bending and extending, etc. 
2.6 If the symptoms on arm are serious, use one thumb to press-knead the points closed to joints on affected arm, such as the main points on LI15, TE14, LI11, LI10, Waiguan (TE5) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point, Yangchi (TE4) Yuan-Source Point, Daling (PC7) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point, Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point, LI4, etc which mentioned above. Operate 1 minute on each point. 
2.7 One thumb flip-plucks or press-kneads muscles and ligaments near each joint on affected arm.
2.8 Thumb and index finger of one hand twist each palm and finger joints on affected side, flex both index finger and middle finger to draw and shake every joints.
2.9 One hollow-fist taps the muscles of affected arm.
2.10 Rub each joint of affected arm until feel warming sensation, or warming therapy on each affected joint.
2.11 One hand-roll along affected leg from groin to anterior and medial-lateral thigh, lateral crus, up and down for 3-5 times, take the joints as main part.
2.12 One hand holds or pinches affected leg, from groin to anterior and medial-lateral thigh, lateral crus, up and down for 3-5 times.
2.13 Practice each joint of affected leg initiatively or passively, including hip joint, knee joint, ankle joint etc. Such as rolling inside, rolling outside, bending and extending, etc.
2.14 If the symptoms of leg are serious, use thumb to press-knead the main points closed to joints of affected leg, such as ST36, GB34, SP9, Weizhong (BL40) He-Sea Point, Lower Confluent Point, Chengshan (BL57), Kunlun (BL60) Jing-River Point etc which mentioned above. Operate each point for 1 minute.
2.15 One thumb flip-plucks or press-kneads the muscles and ligaments on each joint of affected leg.
2.16 Thumb and index finger of one hand twist each toe joint and inter-toe joint, at the same time, flex both index finger and middle finger to draw and shake each joint.
2.17 Two hollow-fists tap the muscles of affected leg.
2.18 Rub each joint of affected leg until feel warming sensation, or foment affected joint. 
2.19 Take prostrate position or sitting, thumb flip-pluck the muscles on lumbar region.
2.20 Take prostrate position, thumb press the main points on lumbar- sacrum region which mentioned above, such as BL23, Mingmen (GV4), GV3, Naokong (GB19), GB30, Jiaji, etc, operate each point for 1 minute.
2.21 Take sitting or prostrate position, one palm rub horizontally on lumbar-sacrum region.
2.22 Rotate lumbar and bending or lifting of the lumbar initiatively for 5-10 times.
2.23 Both arm stretch backward to extend chest for 20-30 times, in order to practice the joints of spine.
