   1. Please take care of your valuables, such as your passport and wallet. We suggest that you do not bring too much cash with you. Please confirm that all the doors and windows are shut before you leave your room.
   2. If you need to exchange money, please go to the banks. Do not exchange money with anyone who offers this service on the street.
   3. Please follow the traffic rules. If there is an accident, please call the police and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Training Center.

   Beijing International Health-Healing Travel Agency provides the service of railway and airplane ticket booking.

4. Transportation
   If you decide to take buses, please have some small change ready. There are several different kinds of buses. The price of regular buses without air conditioning starts at 1 RMB, while the price of those with air conditioning and some special routed buses starts at 2 RMB. Taxis here are paid for-by-distance, usually starting at 10 RMB for the first 3 km, and then 2 RMB for every extra 1km. Every official taxi should have its driver¡¯s photo, name, telephone number and the name of the company displayed in the front of the cab facing the front passenger seat. We suggest you ask for the receipt when you complete your journey.

Holidays: weekends and statutory holidays/ festivals
The Chinese statutory holidays consist of about 10 days per year (you can get accurate dates by inquiring the Foreign Affairs Office).
The Spring Festival: The date of this festival is decided according to Chinese lunar calendar, so it is different from year to year. Theoretically, we have a 3-day vacation, but the usual arrangement is that we work the previous weekend, so that we can have 7 days plus the following weekend.
International Labour Day: From May 1st to May 3rd, and as with the Spring Festival, we usually have a 7-day vacation.
National Day: From October 1st to October 3rd, and we usually have a 7-day vacation, too.
New Year: January 1st, 1day holiday. But we borrow the previous weekend, so we have 3 days holiday.

Eating: If you are interested in tasting Chinese food, there is not a place more convenient for you than living close to Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center. It is located inside China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. You can find 4 restaurants without leaving the academy. And there is more good news:¡ª the most famous restaurant street in Beijing, even in China, is just a few hundred meters away from the Training Center. It has food with different flavors from different areas in China, so while you enjoy wonderful food, you can also experience different Chinese gastronomic cultures.
