Mammary Gland Hyperplasia has different symptoms before and after menstruation that indicate corresponding syndromes. Singly, before menstruation is mostly liver qi stagnation, some blood stasis; after menstruation is mostly blood deficiency, qi deficiency and kidney deficiency, some blood stasis. There are only few yang deficiency, retention of phlegm before and after menstruation.
From clinical research on 208 cases, there are not simple liver qi stagnation or blood stasis before menstruation; qi deficiency, blood deficiency, kidney deficiency or blood stasis after menstruation. So we can not only free flow liver and activate blood before menstruation, warm up kidney yang after menstruation, but we should mostly regulate liver qi before menstruation; benefit qi, nourish blood and reinforce kidney after menstruation, combination with activating blood should be into whole treatment. Treatment of Mammary Gland Hyperplasia should be flexible.
