Treatment of 83 Cases of Anovulatory Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding Given by Xie Ding Fang as the Main Prescription [1]

Anovulatory Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding is irregular uterine bleeding caused by incretion change due to gonadal axis dysfunction. Treatment method: 7 days after menses, there is endless dripping or massive haemorrhage, wiry frequent pulse or thready frequent pulse, the patients should begin to take Gong Xue Xie Ding Fang: Han Lian Cao [3], raw Di Yu [4] 30g respectively, Nu Zhen Zi [5] 40g, prepared Chuan Da Huang [6] charcoal 10g. When the bleeding stop, the patients continually take Tiao Jing Tang with ingredients of Han Lian Cao, Nu Zhen Zi, Huang Qi [7] 20g respectively, Shu Di Huang [8], Bai Shao [9] Yao, Shan Yao [10], Bai Zhu [11], Xu Duan [12] 15g respectively, Mu Dan Pi [13] 10g, oral taking continually for 5-10 decoctions. When the next menses comes, if it dose not stop after more than 7 days, the patients use the above method take Gong Xue Xie Ding Fang first, then take Tiao Jing Tang. Treatment result: the total effective rate is 89%.
