Shaoyin is hinge of yin door, Shaoyin store the true yin and true yang, so yin door works well or not depend on Shaoyin. Shaoyin yang deficiency pattern: true yang deficiency can’t support the yang. In yin-door disorder, the yang cannot enter into the yin, causing the yang to float outside, or the separation of yin and yang. Treatment principle is to tonify the true yang. Formula: Si Ni Tang type.
