Chinese Medicine Classic / Nei Jin [2]

The Emperor asked: "Now, all things that you talked about are perceptible by patients. Why does one who has not met evils and has not gotten excessive emotional irritation fall ill suddenly? Is this committed by gods and ghosts?"

Qi Bo answered: "That is also because one has old evils, which have lingered in the body and have not yet induced illnesses. Thus, when the patient feels repulsion for something or admires something, the blood and qi will be thrown into confusion inside, the latent evils wrestle with the emotional frustrations. The disease comes almost imperceptibly and invisibly just like doings of gods and ghosts."

Key Words: bandit wind, in the divine pivot
