Once the lung channel has been disordered, the patient suffers from distention and fullness of the lungs, gasping, coughing, and has pain in the supraclavicular fossa, and even to the point of clasping the arms and having blurred vision during a severe cough. The disease is call qi reversal of the arm. Therefore, the channel dominates disease due to disorders of the lungs. The symptoms are coughing, rough gasping, vexation, a full chest, pains along the front edges of the inner faces of the upper arms and forearms, and hot sensation in the centers of the palms.
