Bronchial asthma is a common allergic disease of the lungs with seasonal attacks. Usually, there are some prodromal symptoms before the onset of bronchial asthma, such as cough, chest pressure or sneezing. If the symptoms are not timely treated, the illness will quickly develop into asthma. In acute cases, the patient has shortness of breath, wheezing and cough with much sputum. It may be caused by the inhalation of antigen particles or the infection of respiratory tract.

The selection of stimulation: Thoracic cavity area.

Scalp acupuncture relieves the symptoms in some patients. If combining with needling at Danzhong (CV17) Front-Mu Point of the Pericardium [3], the result can be even better.
