Course of Cupping Therapy [1]

Once a day is applied for acute diseases such as common cold and fever; two or three times a day is performed for severe disease or pain syndrome ( the place of cupping should be changed on the same day ); once a day for chronic disease; when we apply specific heavy stimulation leading to stagnating spots or clots, we will start next cupping when stagnating is disappeared, it is about once every 2 to 5 day or use next cupping on the different place of second day; in general, 7 to 10 days become one treatment course, we will start second course after patients take 3 to 5 days break. If we treat acute diseases with cupping of 2 to 3 times or chronic diseases with cupping of 2 to 3 courses and no result is obtained, we should change another method. Mostly, proper manipulation of cupping and accurate location of points can gain good treatment effect.
