Function:
To consolidate the exterior and astringe sweating.


Indication:
Spontaneous sweating or night sweating due to Qi deficiency which fails in controlling the function of pores, and Yin deficiency which cannot astringe Yang. Shortness of breath, palpitation, irritability, light red tongue, thready and weak pulse.”

Huang Qi [3] 30g, Ma Huang Gen [4] 30g, Mu Li [5] 30g

The herb in Mu Li San foluma should be Ma Huang Gen (Root of Ma Huang) instead of Ma Huang. Otherwise it will be life-threatening with Ma Huan at this high dosage without restriction from other herbs. Be careful!
