4 INDICATIONS
1. Deficiency of the liver and kidneys manifested as dizziness, blurred vision, soreness in the lower back, weakness of the legs, seminal emissions and impotence. Dogwood fruit (Shan Zhu Yu [3]) is used with Prepared rehmannia root (Shu Di Huang [4]), Dadder seed (Tu Si Zi [5]), Wolfberry fruit (Gou Qi Zi [6]) and Eucommia bark (Du Zhong [7]).    2.  Spontaneous sweating due to weakness of the body. Dogwood fruit (Shanzhuyu) is used with Ginseng (Ren Shen [8]), Prepared aconite root (Fu Zi [9]) and Oyster shell (Mu Li [10]).

5-10g


6 COUTIONS
This herb is contraindicated in cases with damp-heat or dysuria.
