Acute leukemia achieved clinical complete relieving after chemotherapy, there are very little static leukemia cells in the proliferation stage in the peripheral blood and bone marrow, it is called residual leukemia. So far, Acute Myeloid Leukemia Minimal Residual Disease has no ideal treatment method, TCM method stays in exploratory phase. Clinical research concerns how to apply herbs to rehabilitate the immune function and other functions of viscera and tissues which were damaged by anti-cancer medicine, finally, the residual leukemia cells can be killed and the leukemia could be healed. TCM believes that the pathogenesis of residual leukemia is evil and toxicity hide inside, there is residuary evil, qi and yin damaging. The treatment key point is promoting qi, nourishing yin, recuperating healthy qi, clearing residuary toxicity.
