Pediatrics

120 cases have been observed in total and are divided into treatment group (80 cases) and control group (40 cases) at random by 2:1. Methods: treatment group: magnetic application on ST25: 40~50mT barium oxysome magnetic disk of 0.5cm in diameter is selectes, 2 pieces for once. Putting the south poles on both side of ST 25 separately, and fixing it with adhesive plaster or paper self-adhesive tape, 2 hours for once, and twice a day. Control group: Xiao Er Fu Xie Ning, for the infants below 3 months years old, 2ml/ per time; for whom aged from 3months to 1 years old, 3 ~ 4ml/ per time; for whom aged from 1 to 3 years old, 5 ~ 6 ml/ per time. Three times a day, oral administration. The courses of acute Diarrhea in both groups are 3 days, and that of protracted diarrhea is 7 days. Results: in this treatment group of 80 cases, the acute ones are 64 cases, with the total effect 95.3%; the protracted ones are 16cases, with the total effect 87.5%. In the control group of 40 cases, the acute ones are 30 cases, with the total effect 80.0%; the protracted ones are 10 cases, with the total effect 80.0%. The statistical analysis indicates that the curative effect of acute diarrhea in the treatment group is better than the ones in the control group; the curative effects of protracted diarrhea are mostly same in the both groups. In the treatment group, the curative effect of acute ones is better than the protracted ones.
