The three yang’s illnesses are with more heat and excess syndromes; the three yin’s illnesses are with more cold and deficiency syndromes. From the relationship between the evil qi and vital qi, the illnesses of three yangs indicate: the vital qi of the patient is excessive, the patient has strong resistance to the disease, and the evil qi is excess. Normally three yangs cases show excited state. The illnesses of three yins indicate: the vital qi of the patient is deficient, the patient has weak resistance to the disease, and the evil qi is not completely rule out.
