The big network channel of the stomach channel is called vacuous interior. It penetrates the diaphragm, joins with the lungs, and exits from beneath the left breast. Its pulsations is palpable. The ancestral qi can be detected at this location. If the pulsations are frantic like panting, or beat rapidly with interruptions, the disease is in the middle-jiao. If the pulsations beat irregularly with interruptions and remain replete and forceful under the fingers, there are accumulations in the stomach. If the pulsations can be seen through clothing, the ancestral qi leaks.
