Topic on channels in the divine pivot (Tenth article part II)Posted by: admin on Apr 04, 2009 - 01:52 AMIf the qi of the lung channel is exuberant and excessive, the patient will have painful shoulder and back due to wind and cold, sweating, wind stroke, and frequent and scant urine. If its qi is deficient, the patient will have painful shoulders and back due to cold, shortness of breath, and urine of change color. To treat such diseases, drain what is excessive, and supplement what is deficient. Needle fast to what has heat, retain needles to what has cold, and use moxibustion to what shows sinking. If a disease is due to neither excess nor deficiency of other channels, select the lung channel itself. If the qi of the channel is excessive, the wrist pulse will be three times larger than the neck pulse. If the qi is deficient, the wrist pulse will be smaller than the neck pulse.
