The Emperor asked: "What about the nobleness and humbleness of these six kinds of substances?"
Qi Bo answered: "These six kinds are dominated by regular masters respectively (kidney masters essence, lungs master qi, spleen masters jing and ye, liver masters blood, heart masters vessel). The nobleness or humbleness and normality and abnormality are controlled by their masters. However, they are all produced form the five cereals, and the stomach is still the great sea."
