Nei Jing

After grains enter the stomach, the essential qi is spread into the liver, and nourishes the sinews. After foods get into the stomach, the dense and thick part of the qi gets into the heart, and nourishes the blood vessels. The qi runs in the channels and flows into the lungs. The lungs face the hundred vessels, and send the essential qi into the skin and body hair. The qi and blood combine and run in the channels normally. Then, the qi and blood get into the other four zang-organs. The qi keeps in balance, and manifests its state at the wrist pulse with concentration. Death and life could be detected here.

Key Words: discussion of differentiations among the channels, in the plain question
