Alopecia Areata

Scalp Acupuncture

Alopecia areata is characterized by sudden and local hair loss. Usually, it is caused by mental trauma and emotional disturbance. The hair falls out in round or oval-shaped areas which are 1-2cm in size with clear boundary. They are going to combine together when the number increases.

The selection of stimulation: Motor and sensory area of foot and upper three-fifths of sensory area.

Scalp acupuncture may make hair growing back again in some patients. Combining with some body points which are on liver/kidney/heart meridians, will bring better result out.
