Chinese Patent Herb: Shuang Huang Lian Injection

Ingredients: Lian Qiao, Jin Yin Hua, Huang Qin.

Indications: clearing heat and relieving toxicity, pungent in flavour and cool in property, relieving exterior syndrome. It can be used for wind-heat exterior attacking, the evil exist in lungs, heat toxicity obstructing interior, the symptoms includes fever, aversion to cold slightly or without aversion to cold, cough, shortness of breath, yellow sputum, red throat and swelling and sore; acute upper respiratory tract infection, acute bronchitis, acute tonsillitis, mild pneumonia with symptoms mentioned above.

Method and dosage: intravenous drip. 60mg per kilogram weight per time, 1 time a day, or according to doctor’s order. Dissolve in sterilized water for injection, dilute the injection with sodium chloride or 5% Glucose injection.
