Chinese Patent Herb: Yu Zhen Powder

Ingredients: raw Bai Fu Zi, Fang Feng, Bai Zhi, raw Tian Nan Xing, Tian Ma, Qiang Huo.

Indications: dispelling wind, resolving phlegm, relieving spasm, stopping pain. It can be used for tetanus and traumatic injury, sword injury with bleeding, turgescence with pain, as well as chilblain. We now often use it for treatment of trismus due to lockjaw, wry mouth with distorted eyes, body rigidity, opisthotonos etc. It can also be used for rabies spasm.

Method and dosage: powder: 3g per package, oral taking, 1-1.5g each time, or according to doctor’s order. Pasting appropriate dosage on affected area, you can sprinkle some medicine on wound; dissolving in water and pasting on closed injury; dissolving in oil and pasting on chilblain.

Attention: There is toxicity in this patent herb, it should be cautiously take, and should not be taken with excessive dosage or for long term. It cannot be taken by pregnant woman.
