Cupping Therapy
In general, we prefer glass transparent cup to perform moving cup, we cover massage cream on the cupping area, then attach cup on the skin surface, move cup up or down along meridian or muscle, stop moving when skin color turns to fresh red or purplish dark, this method is commonly used for acute febrile disease or muscle pain, atrophy and numbness caused by qi and blood stagnation on deep region of tissues.
  1. straight: straightly moving cup, commonly used for urinary bladder meridian on the back or muscle on the legs.
  2. rotating: we move cup with clockwise direction or anti-clockwise direction, this method is commonly used on lumbar region or shoulder.
