Commonly used cupping methods: blister cupping

This method is similar with scarring moxibustion, we can prolong retaining time of cupping or apply heavy stimulation to cause blisters. This method is commonly used for common cold caused by invasion of cold and dampness. Blisters can be disappeared after 1 to 2 days. This method can not be used for patient with edema.

Commonly used cupping methods: herbal cupping

We use herbal plaster on the diseased area, then perform cupping, this method combines cupping with Chinese herbs, so treatment effect can be improved.
