Chinese Patent Herb: Zu Jin Ding Eye Ointment

Ingredients: calcining calamine, borneol, calcining Shi Gao, Da Qing Yan (Da Qing salt), borax, Vaseline, liquid olefin.

Indications: clearing heat, dispersing wind, dispelling dampness, stopping itching, relieving turgescence, removing pain. It can be used for acute hyperaemia of bulbar conjunctiva, acute conjunctivitis, dry eyes with itching sensation, tears due heat stasis, or there is nebula in eyes, aversion to light and tears etc. We now use it for treatment of chronic blepharitis, canthus blepharitis leading to above symptoms.
