Dermatology

Chronic intractable ulcer is caused by sores, surgical trauma and wound surface infection after surgery, etc. The internal and external reasons lead to qi stagnation, blood stasis, obstruction of meridians, nutrition loss of skin; slough doesn’t leave, fresh skin is hard to grow, therefore, sores isn’t cured in a long term.

Prescription and usage: Xiong Huang, Ku Fan, Bei Mu, Duan Shi Gao, Lu Gan Shi, Er Cha, Chen Shi Hui, Huang Dan, Zhu Sha and Bing Pian. Crush the drugs above into fine powder, sieve it and be bottled for reservation. Do routine clean on the sores, sprinkle the powder on it, sterilize, dressing and cover it. Change the herbal medicine in each other day.

Experience: the patients feel painful in different degrees at early stage of usage. The pain will be relieved without any special treatments as sores get better. When the drugs are applied on ulcer surface, purulent secretions increase. It means removing toxin, dispelling slough, resolving purulence and promoting the production of skin. Don't quit the drugs until it heals. In the more than 20 and under treat patients group, disease courses are from 1 month to over 20 years. Quit all the antimicrobials when the drugs are applied and all of them are cured.
