Relaxed: The whole body and mind should be relaxed from up to down, from left to right, from internal to external. Then relaxation can bring qi circulating easily. Continuous: The movements are continuous without any break, so that qi circulation can be continuous to distribute on the whole body from one meridian to the other. Slow: Movement in Tai Ji Quan is usually slow. This slowness helps to easily concentrate mind and movements, allow qi to circulate all over the body.
