The anxiety disorder is routinely treated with medication and psychological therapy. 48 cases were treated by massage with us under the principle of treatment: Regulate qi in the zang-fu organs, invigorate the spleen, clam the mind and tonify the kidney. Treatment: First, pressing with the thumb at Dazhui (GV14) and Mingmen (GV4) with gradually intensified force until the patient experienced soreness and distention. Then, flapping was applied for 1-2 minutes at each acupoint. Afterwards, one finger pushing method was applied from Hua Tuo Jia Ji on bilateral sides of GV14 or from bilateral visceral shu acupoints at the first line of Urinary Bladder Channel to the bilateral Hua Tuo Jia Ji L2 level or kidney shu points. The maneuver lasted 5 minutes. Second, supine position, pressing Zhongwan (CV12) Front-Mu Point of the Stomach, Shenque (CV8), Qihai (CV6), and Guanyuan (CV4) Front-Mu Point of the SmallIntestine and let the warm sensation go through abdominal and along both thighs to Yongquan (KI1) Jing-Well Point until the whole body feels warm. Then palm rubbing was used at the hypochondriac region until that the patient experienced moderate warmth and a comfortable feeling. Afterwards, palm kneading and moving maneuver was used at the abdomen. The maneuver lasted 10 minutes. Third, one finger repeated pushing GV Channel from Yin Tang to Shenting (GV24), Shangxing (GV23), Qianding (GV21) and Baihui (GV20) for 3 minutes. Then, 30 cycles of massage were applied around the orbit with both thumbs along the course of Yu Yao, Yangbai (GB14), Sizhukong (TE23), Tongziliao (GB1), Tai Yang, Sibai (ST2) and Jingming (BL1). And then, the middle finger was used to press and knead Fengchi (GB20) and Fengfu (GV16) for 1 minute to reinforce the brain, clam the mind and brighten the eyes. Once every other day, 10 sessions were constituted one therapeutic course. Results: Out of the 48 cases, 6 were cured by one therapeutic course, 15 by 2 therapeutic courses, 19 by 3 therapeutic courses and 8 by 4 therapeutic courses.
