Self Massage

1. Prescription
Foot Points: Liver, Ascending Colon, Transverse Colon, Thyroid Gland, Stomach, Celiac Nerves, Kidney, Small Intestine, Descending Colon, Spleen, Sigmoid Flexure, Rectum, Diaphragm.


2. Technique of Massage
In the clinic, classification of gastric and intestinal inflammations are very detailed including gastritis and enteritis, acute and chronic. But both of gastritis and enteritis belong to digestive system disease, so during treatment, we should simultaneously regulate functions of Stomach and intestines, and treatment classification refers to acute or chronic. Except ordinary treatment, please modify techniques according to symptoms.  
2.1 Distention and fullness as the main symptoms:  
2.1.1 Thumb press-knead stomach for 3-5 minutes.
2.1.2 Thumb press-knead Spleen for 3-5 minutes.
2.1.3 Thumb press-knead Duodenum for 3-5 minutes.
2.1.4 Thumb press-knead Liver for 3-5 minutes.
2.2 Vomiting sour as the main symptom:
2.2.1 One flex index finger scrape stomach from toes to heel for 3-5 times. 
2.2.2 Both thumbs push Celiac Nerves for 3-5 minutes.
2.2.3 Thumb-press Kidney for 3-5 minutes.
2.3 Diarrhea as the main symptom:
2.3.1 Both thumbs push celiac nerves for 3-5 minutes.
2.3.2 Flex four fingers, scrape from toes to heel for 3-5 minutes. 
2.4 Constipation as the main symptom:
2.4.1 Both fingers-fists technique tap Small Intestine for 3-5 minutes.
2.4.2 Thumb-press Duodenum for 3-5 minutes, thumb-press stomach for 3-5 minutes, thumb push-knead rectum for 3-5 minutes.
2.5 Anorexia as the main symptom: 
2.5.1 Thumb-press stomach for 3-5 minutes.
Thumb-press spleen for 3-5 minutes.
Thumb-push duodenum for 3-5 minutes.
2.5.2 Thumb-push horizontally small intestine for 3-5 minutes.
Knead-push Thyroid Gland for 3-5 minutes.
2.6 The patient with stomach, duodenum ulcer:
2.6.1 Press stomach for 3 minutes, press duodenum for 3 minutes, thumb push horizontally small intestine for 3 minutes.
2.6.2 Thumb push horizontally Ascending Colon for 10-15 times.
Thumb push horizontally Transverse Colon for 10-15 times.
Thumb push horizontally Descending Colon for 10-15 times.
