1. Prescription
Head and Face: Chengjiang (CV24).
Chest and Abdomen: Qimen (LR14) Front-Mu Point of the Liver, Danzhong (CV17) Front-Mu Point of the Pericardium, Zhongwan (CV12) Front-Mu Point of the Stomach, Huangshu (KI16), Qihai (CV6), Tianshu (ST25) Front-Mu Point of the Large Intestine, Guanyuan (CV4) Front-Mu Point of the SmallIntestine, Zhongji (CV3) Front-Mu Point of the Bladder, Zigong (CV19), Guilai (ST29), Qichong (ST30), Henggu (KI11), Qugu (CV2), Weidao (GB28), Riyue (GB24) Front-Mu Point of the Gallbladder, Zhangmen (LR13)Front-Mu Point of the Spleen, Influential Point of Zang Organs, Jingmen (GB25) Front-Mu point of the Kidney.
Neck and Shoulder Region: Dazhui (GV14).
Lumbar and Back Region: Geshu (BL17), Ganshu (BL18), Pishu (BL20), Weishu (BL21), Sanjiaoshu (BL22), Shenshu (BL23), Mingmen (GV4), Qihaishu (BL24), Guanyuanshu (BL26), Shangliao (BL31), Ciliao (BL32), Zhongliao (BL33), Xialiao (BL34).
Arm: Lieque (LU7)Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point, Hegu (LI4) Yuan-Source Point.
Leg: Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point, Yinlingquan (SP9) He-Sea Point, Sanyinjiao (SP6), Zhubin (KI9) Xi-Cleft Point, Rangu (KI2) Ying-Spring Point, Taixi(KI3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point, Yongquan (KI1) Jing-Well Point.
2. Technique of Massage
2.1 Take standing position, both palms root straightly rub both sides of lumbosacral region for 2-3 minutes.
2.2 Flex thumb press-knead BL22 until feel soreness and distention sensation.
Thumb press-knead BL21 until feel soreness and distention sensation.
Flex thumb press-knead BL24 until feel soreness and distention sensation.
Palm root press-knead both BL31, BL32, BL33, BL34 until feel soreness and distention sensation.
2.3 Both hand hold-pinch both sides of lumbosacral region, it will be better if feeling soreness, distention and comfortable sensation.
2.4 Both palms stack up and place on lower-abdomen, press-knead clockwise slowly for 3-5 minutes.
2.5 Both thumbs press lower abdomen respectively along the running course of Conception Vessel for 5-10 times.
2.6 Index finger and middle finger press-knead CV17 for 1 minute, index finger press-knead CV4 for 1 minute, index finger press-knead KI16 for 1 minute.
Both index finger press CV19 and press-knead for 1 minute.
2.7 Hold lower abdominal muscles from up to down with several fingers for 5-7 times.
2.8 One palm root straightly pushes three yin meridians of foot on opposite side of leg for 5-7 times.
2.9 Take sitting position, thumb presses SP6 for 1 minute until feel soreness and distention sensation, both thumbs press KI2 for 1 minute until feel soreness and distention sensation.
2.10 Thenar rubs KI1 until feel warming sensation radiating to crus.
2.11 Modification of following treatments are taken according to different syndromes:
2.11.1 Qi and blood stasis type: both thumbs place on LR14 on both costal region, press continually for 1 minute then knead gently.
Both thumbs place on GB24 on both costal region, press continually for 1 minute then knead gently.
Thumb press-knead ST36 for 2 minutes.
2.11.2 Cold-damp type: palm rubs GV14 until feel warming sensation.
Both hands tap BL31, BL32, BL33, BL34 for 20 times.
2.11.3 Deficiency of qi and blood type: thumb-knead BL17 on back for 1 minute.
Thumb-knead BL20 on back for 1 minute, both thumbs knead BL21 on back for 1 minute.
2.11.4 Insufficiency of liver-kidney type: both thumbs press BL18 for 1 minute.
Rub both flank regions until feel warming, then palm root straightly pushes from LR14 through LR13 to GB25 for 10-20 times.
