The Experiences of Zhang Suqing on the Treatment of Coronary Heart DiseasePosted by: admin on May 03, 2008 - 09:33 PMIn origin aspect, the coronary heart disease is deficiency of both qi and blood, and deficiency of both heart and kidney in the main; in superficiality, it is stagnation of coldness and blood, blood stasis, the obstruction of phlegm in Heart meridian. The instructor commonly uses the experiential prescription "Guan Xin Xiang Dan Pian". In the prescription, apply Bai Zi Ren and Zhi shou wu for benefiting and supporting the vital qi, nourishing yin, nourishing heart and tonifying kidney; Yuan hu and Chai Hu for regulating qi, eliminating stagnation and relieve the pain; Fo Shou, Su Mu and Hong Hua for promoting qi and activating blood, regulating qi to strengthening the function on activing blood and opening meridians; the prescription combines with tonifying and opening methods, regulate qi in middle Triple Energizer, raising clear qi and repressing Upward Perversion of turbid qi. The instructor have developed a new patch which treat the internal disease by external treatment-Tian Wang Hu Xin Bao, (made of Yuan hu, Bing Pian etc. Chinese herbs; make into powder, then make it into the ointment and to seal in the rounded pill). When the angina pectoris attacks, smell the pill with nose first, then put the pill on the CV 17, Xu li, PC 6, CV 8, etc. The bradyrhythmia of coronary heart disease is considered as “retard pulse syndrome†in TCM. The yang deficiency, phlegm stagnation and blood stasis often interact as their causes and effects in a long term. The experiential prescription of the instructor, "Shen Lu Jiao Nang", in the prescription, apply Hong hua for benefiting qi, strengthening spleen and warming yang; Lu jiao jiao for warming kidney and supporting yang, nourishing blood and opening the meridian. Besides, the secondary herbs are applied for regulating qi, eliminating stagnation and phlegm, treating booth primary and secondary aspects of the disease, keeping balance with yin and yang, regulating qi and blood.
